Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) is a place where nearly 100 million people come together each year. As a leader in air transportation and logistics, ATL is in a unique position to be a global model for international innovation.
From December 11th through 15th, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport will be an incubator for innovation as it presents a special Air Transportation & Logistics edition of the ATL Thinks! Innovation Lab series produced by Amplify 4 Good.
Innovation Labs are a venue for businesses to share their aspirations for the future of their industry. This is about solving real world problems by bringing some of our region’s best and brightest talent together at one of our greatest spaces – Hartsfield-Jackson. The intent is to mentor these talented people and teams/startups toward building viable products for their industries, and the ultimate goal is to launch new businesses that further define Atlanta as an innovation leader.
For the startups, entrepreneurs, innovators, creatives, and intrapreneurs (individuals within a large company who integrate risk-taking and innovative practices) who participate, this provides a unique opportunity to work with, and be mentored by industry experts on real world problems and opportunities that will drive next generation businesses.
The focus for the Ideation Launch will be on the following areas:
+ The business of airports: redefining the entire, immersive airport experience
+ Freight/cargo logistics
+ Reducing security clearance wait times
